Civil War board games have been available for many decades, and the hobby is still going strong, with publishers like GMT Games and Multi-man Publishing providing several dozen Civil War wargames. Unfortunately, none of those games, as far as I know, contains scenarios on the Richmond-Petersburg Campaign. Luckily, that has recently changed! Scot Rohrer, using out of print rules from circa 1980 found within Richard Berg’s Great Battles of the American Civil War series, has created a new scenario for the September 29, 1864 Battle of New Market Heights.
