Federal expedition from Bernard’s Mills to Murfree’s Station, VA, and skirmish (16th) at the Blackwater, as the Yankees continue to destroy precious and limited Confederate supplies, including bacon and 4 barrels of apple brandy. 10/15-17/1864.
