Summary: In this brief report of only half-a-page, Colonel Robert V. Cowan of the 33rd North Carolina describes his regiment’s movements and actions at the June 22, 1864 Battle of Jerusalem Plank Road. The regiment was part of Lane’s Brigade, Wilcox’s Division, Third Corps, Army of Northern Virginia.
