Hi.
Can you put me in touch with the copyright holders? I’d like to ask them if I can use Hogg’s letters from June 18-July 1, 1864, for scholarly purposes. I’m writing about June 21-22, where his unit played a significant role.
Thanks,
John Horn

John,
Who is the actual copyright holder is disputed, as I learned the hard way when a crazy person from England contacted me in the middle of the night time demanding these be removed immediately. Because of her insane emails and demands, I am now forced to get specific written permission from every single person who wants to share on this site before I’ll even think of pushing anything, which is a shame.
I’ll put you in contact with the original person who contacted me. He is a reasonable person with good intentions. Private email to follow if I can still find his email address.
Regardless, I’d recommend reading the letters privately and making use of the contents as background material, but I would strongly discourage you from trying to publish any of them…but it’s up to you.
Brett
