When I announced several weeks ago that I had in my possession the 60+ Ed Bearss troop movement maps from Petersburg National Battlefield, I realized those maps covered action south of the Appomattox River only. I also strongly suspected that Richmond National Battlefield might have some maps covering action north of the James River. After an email query, Bob Krick confirmed the existence of map sets for Fort Harrison and the first two Darbytown Road battles. I should also be getting those maps in digital format soon, and I’m excited to announce that I’m also allowed to freely share these with all of you. Stay tuned for even more Ed Bearss map goodness!
