Can you tell me where I may obtain a copy of this print? Plate 078, Map 4: High Bridge and Farmville, VA 1867. The bridge was built across my Great, great grandfather’s farm. Thank you
Ashley,
Thanks for your comment. I do not know specifically where you might by a print of this specific mp, but I don’t doubt it is possible. This map came from the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies in the War of the Rebellion. If you try to do Google searches looking for companies who sell OR Atlas prints, you should be in luck. Keep in mind that the OR Atlas in in the public domain, so anyone can do this if they have access to a copy of the map. In fact, you might wish to just take the image of this map found on this web page, download it to your computer, and bring it in to Kinkos or some similar store and have them make a print for you on the appropriate size/quality paper you are looking for.
